The 2019 Asian-American Chamber of Commerce “Jewels of Asia” Awards Gala is scheduled for Friday, May 3, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at the Sheraton in Tysons Corner, VA. This year’s theme is “Creating a Golden Future for Business Success.” In honor of AACC’s 10th Anniversary, we will be highlighting historical milestones throughout the years and unveiling our vision for the next decade and beyond. The Chamber recognizes businesses, community organizations, and Asian & Pacific American (APA) business leaders who have made outstanding contributions to the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. business community and economy. This gala event is a great opportunity for business leaders and community members to engage and celebrate the contributions made by Asian & Pacific Americans to our vibrant DC Metro region economy.
The Awards Ceremony will recognize individuals, small businesses, corporations, and non-profits who have made a significant contribution to the greater Northern Virginia, Maryland, or District of Columbia communities and the global communities at-large. This year’s attendance is expected to exceed over 400 attendees due to our 10th Anniversary program that will include a cocktail reception, cultural performances, expanded awards ceremony, silent auction, historical displays, and our next chapter vision showcased. In addition to our attendees and sponsors, the Gala will include special VIP guests, legislative officials, and multimedia personalities that exemplify our diverse community.
Sponsorship opportunities and advertisement spaces are still available for the event program. The online Silent Auction submission is now open on our website for donations to be made and noted in our program book. The annual “Jewels of Asia” Gala Awards Ceremony is a premier event for those who support the Asian-Pacific business community in our area. AACC welcomes your inquiries and support of this event that allows the contributions of the APA community to be honored and recognized.
