What’s the Outlook for Year of the Sheep?

Chinese-2015-New-Year-Card-With-Goat

2015 is the Year of the Green Wooden Sheep, based on the Chinese zodiac. It is also known as The Year of the Goat and Year of the Ram. The Year of the Sheep begins on Feb. 19, 2015 (the Lunar New Year). It will last until Feb. 7 next year. Others welcome the start on Feb. 4.

The sheep is the eighth animal in the Chinese lunar calendar’s 12-year cycle, and the number eight is said to symbolize good fortune. International Feng Shui master Marites Allen told ABS-CBN, the Philippines’ top global network, that this year is a positive chart. She noted the presence of the five elements: Wood, earth, water, fire and metal. She said this brings balance, unlike last year in which two elements were missing.

According to astrologyclub.org, the sheep, a Yin energy, is “a symbol of Peace, Harmonious co-existence and Tranquility. That is the primary and fundamental mood for this year…War will be averted and a period of mending and compromise will be undertaken to ensure Peace is maintained.” That’s nice to hear, considering the world’s war-like situation today.

Ms. Allen predicted that wood elements (including fashion, plantation, agriculture and textiles) would make good this year. This is also a lucky year for those involved in creative professions, and gotohoroscope.com notes: “If you sing…paint, write poems or compose music, you may count on the stars’ patronage. Generally speaking, any undertaking that is tackled with passion and joy is guaranteed to succeed.”

Every year, Certified Astrological Professional Misty Kuceris has shared her predictions with AF readers. She is a Corporate and Personal Consultant, international lecturer and author. This month, she has a Beginning Astrology Class in Fairfax, Virginia.

Misty notes that on January 20, the new Moon was also in the sign of Aquarius but at zero degrees. “At that time the new Moon emphasized the lesson: View life from a new perspective and let go of the fears which prevent your success. If you let go of fears last month, you will be able to implement any new concepts in a spiritual manner.

“…As Mars separates from the conjunction it made with Venus on February 22nd, it still follows Venus in making a trine to Saturn on February 25th, the day after Venus made the same trine. You feel good about your choices. You feel as if you can move forward with your life. You are willing to take risks, but they are calculated risks. You’ve actually considered everything before moving forward.”

Misty is scheduled to make her complete 2015 predictions sometime this month. For details and her schedule, visit her website at mistykuceris.com.
