“I am…”

By: Joline, rising 3rd grader

I am Responsible and Respectful
I wonder how dinosaurs died
I hear people talking
I see kids
I want a dog and cat
I am Responsible and Respectful
I pretend I’m a vet at home
I feel excited
I touch my sister’s cat
I worry that my brother will scare me
I cry when I see my pet die
I am Responsible and Respectful
I understand that I am 7 years old
I say that my cat is cute
I dream that I’m going to win 1st place in a spelling bee
I hope I [will] be a vet
I try to play soccer
I am Responsible and Respectful
I hope [that] I [will] be a good kid forever
