KOWIN DC HOSTS A NIGHT OF OPERA TO BENEFIT NEXT GENERATION OF WOMEN LEADERS

Washington, D.C. – On Saturday, May 18th, 2013, KOWIN DC hosted a benefit concert at the Richard J. Ernst Community Cultural Center of Northern Virginia Community College, Annandale Campus.

The evening’s program, Opera Gala: Aria and Love Duet, directed by Sung Hee Rhee, included emblematic pieces from Gounod’s Romeo et Juliette, Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor, Puccini’s Tosca, Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin, Verdi’s Aida, Rigoletto and Don Carlo, Wagner’s Flying Dutchman, and Giordano’s Andrea Chenier, performed by renowned local artists: Seyoung Jeong,soprano and piano, Jeongeun Park , piano, Yoonsoo Shin, tenor, Kwangkyu Lee, bass,Fabiana Bravo, soprano,and Nemeh Azzam, baritone.
